Mitchell Broom - Personal Injury LawyerMitchell graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2011, with degrees in Law and Commerce, before completing his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and being admitted to practise as a solicitor in New South Wales. In 2012, Mitchell was admitted to practise in the High Court of Australia, and all federal courts.

Mitchell has been with Wyatts since 2012, and has practised in personal injury and compensation law for the entirety of his career. In 2018, Mitchell was certified by the Law Society of NSW as an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law, having completed the rigorous assessment process in which a lawyer is judged by their peers to be an expert in their chosen field.

Mitchell practices in all areas of personal injury law, however the focus of his practice is handling claims involving major and catastrophic injuries arising out of motor accidents, public liability claims, industrial accidents, and historical child sexual abuse.

Mitchell is privileged to spend every working day helping clients to understand how the law applies specifically to their case, and seeking outcomes that will benefit them in the short and long term, rather than only a quick result. He always explains the law and legal principles in plain English and ensures that every client understands exactly what they can expect, and what the law can do for them.

Above all, Mitchell prides himself on being a good listener and on developing empathy for clients in any situation. He is also committed and diligent, and works on strategies to assist clients in the most timely and cost-effective way.

When he is not at work, Mitchell loves spending time with his wife Steph, eating out and relaxing with a glass of wine. A keen traveller, he is also the Deputy Chairman of Young Life Australia, a not-for-profit youth organisation. Mitchell and his wife attend Establish Church Cronulla.
