Mitchell Broom

Special Counsel

Mitchell Broom is Special Counsel at Wyatts and an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law as certified by the Law Society of NSW. He has practiced almost exclusively in personal injury law since the start of his career. You can be assured that when it comes to your personal injury claim, Mitch knows what he is talking about and will do his best for you.

Mitch is a leading expert in historical abuse claims against institutions and individuals. In 2019, Mitch led the successful case of MC v Morris in the Supreme Court of NSW, securing a record judgment of over $3.5million for his client for historical sexual abuse.

He has achieved exceptional results for his clients over the course of his career, whether they have suffered serious or less-serious injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident, workplace incident, accidents in public places or medical negligence – successfully resolving hundreds of cases, from smaller claims to multimillion dollar damages awards. Mitch understands that every case is important to his clients, and brings the same compassionate approach to all of his work. He will do his best to ensure you achieve the best possible outcome.

Mitch has remained with Wyatts since 2012 because he believes in the work that we do, and the way that we do it. Mitch shares Wyatts’ commitment to honesty and integrity in all aspects of legal practice, and will always give you advice in plain English that you can understand, your options, and the information you need to make an informed decision about your case.

Outside of work, Mitch attends Jannali Anglican Church with his wife Steph, and stays busy with his two young children.
