Julie began her legal career in 1981 and has been with Wyatts ever since it was founded. Over this period, she has acquired a vast amount of experience and has worked with people from all walks of life who have found themselves in difficult situations. Julie is a sympathetic and understanding lawyer who can assist clients whatever their circumstances.
Before joining Wyatts, Julie worked as the National Compensation Officer for the Commonwealth Bank Officers’ Association for a number of years, representing the Union’s membership across Australia. She also represented the Union on various ACTU committees, working to ensure that many benefits were retained for workers around the nation. She was also heavily involved in the implementation of return-to-work programs for the Union’s members.
Julie has recently completed a series of nearly 30 mediations against the Commonwealth of Australia. Her skills and knowledge make her just as comfortable dealing with government agencies and insurance companies as she is handling local cases relating to clients’ daily lives.

Neville has been an accredited specialist in personal injury law since 1995, only two years after that accreditation was established. He has a highly respected record of legal service, with years of experience in the profession in many locations around Australia. He has been Solicitor Director of Wyatts since 2000 and has represented clients at every level of the legal system, from local courts to the High Court.
A former officer in the Royal Australian Navy, Neville has been involved in many major legal investigations and inquiries, including the Sea King Board of Inquiry, the HMAS Success Commission of Inquiry and a Chief of Defence Force Inquiry, and he also provided advice to the Kovco coronial inquest.
Neville’s expertise, tenacity and skills in negotiation have made a difference to hundreds of cases in many fields, particularly compensation claims. His specialist accreditation in personal injury law was judged by his peers and was awarded by the Law Society of NSW, in recognition of his exceptional competence and of the quality, speed and value of his legal service.

As Wyatts’ Senior Associate Mitchell knows our clients don’t ask or expect to be in the situation they are in, so they need someone to take on their undeserved burden. Mitchell will handle the legal side of claims and provide advice on best options are so you can focus on your recovery. Mitchell is an accredited specialist in personal injury law and will fights hard for our client’s. In 2013 Mitchell oversaw a particularly difficult abuse case prior to significant legislation changes. He convinced the Court to allow our client to bring a claim, resulting in $1.3 million compensation claim for our client.
Nancy is our Managing Solicitor and has over 20 years of experience in a variety of legal firms. Nancy knows our clients want to be understood and reassured that what they are going through is valid and painful and often life changing. Not in a good way. Nancy has the necessary expertise to help you through your claim and is motivated to ensure that entire firm does the work in a timely, cost-effective and efficient manner without compromising the value of your claim.
With a background in psychology as an accredited specialist, Nancy has seen and dealt with whole range of issues that someone who does not specialise in the field might not realise is an opportunity. Nancy will work in your best interest and help you through the compensation process.
Nishika is an administrator in our Finance team, helping with keeping your claim rolling through to you so you can use your compensation as soon as possible. Nishika believes in ensuring all our clients are treated with dignity and empathy.
Devon has been working with survivors of historical institutional child sexual abuse since 2017 and experience representing clients in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.
Devon is passionate about restorative justice and is aware that although monetary compensation is extremely important, assisting client’s to find their voice and giving them a platform to be heard is just as significant, if not more so. Devon sees her role as an advocate and listens to her clients about what justice means to them, and what they want to be achieved as part of the claim process
After working in different areas of law for the last 6 years, Christopher decided to make the change to work in personal injury and compensation to help make a direct and positive difference in clients’ lives. Christopher prides himself on providing approachable, responsive and quality service to clients as he believes client management and satisfaction is important to Wyatts’ success and growth. Furthermore, Christopher strives to maintain a high standard of professionalism, efficiency, enthusiasm and attention to detail in his duties.
Inderprit is a recent graduate and working on shaping his understanding of the practical and procedural aspects of the law, focusing on struggling and vulnerable members of the public and how to effectively assist them. Inderprit has always had an interest in Compensation Law as this area is an intersection of the aspects of our lives that matter to us most, namely work, health and the financial security of our families and ourselves. Inderprit is fundamentally committed to the idea that competence and empathy are the two most important ideals in becoming an effective and respected Compensation Solicitor.
Camille has multi-jurisdictional experience and has practiced in several areas of personal injury law. The focus of her practice are claims of institutional and historical child sexual abuse. She has been involved in litigation against individuals, Churches, Foster and Out-Of-Home Care providers, State Government Departments, Schools and Youth Organisations.
Camille believes that every client deserves a compassionate legal service. She is empathetic and sensitive to the fragile state that many survivors of child sexual abuse can be in both physically and mentally. She adapts to the client’s needs through her trauma-informed approach, to avoid overwhelming and re-traumatising survivors of sexual abuse. She aims to be a strong voice for those who need help.
