Director
Julie began her legal career in 1981 and has been with Wyatts ever since it was founded. Over this period, she has acquired a vast amount of experience and has worked with people from all walks of life who have found themselves in difficult situations. Julie is a sympathetic and understanding lawyer who can assist clients whatever their circumstances.
Before joining Wyatts, Julie worked as the National Compensation Officer for the Commonwealth Bank Officers’ Association for a number of years, representing the Union’s membership across Australia. She also represented the Union on various ACTU committees, working to ensure that many benefits were retained for workers around the nation. She was also heavily involved in the implementation of return-to-work programs for the Union’s members.
Julie has recently completed a series of nearly 30 mediations against the Commonwealth of Australia. Her skills and knowledge make her just as comfortable dealing with government agencies and insurance companies as she is handling local cases relating to clients’ daily lives.
As a leader of the Wyatts staff, Julie is committed to ensuring every client receives legal advice that is not only detailed and useful, but also considerate and thoughtful. Clients can trust Julie to work positively and strongly on their behalf, seeking the best results possible.
